Grand Casino Baden

Greentube has deepened its footprint in the regulated market, coming just a short time after the supplier made its first steps into the jurisdiction.

The Novomatic interactive division has launched its games via Grand Casino Baden, ten days after it was revealed that a partnership had been struck with the Grand Casino Lucerne to secure market entry.

The firm was among the first suppliers to provide its services to the region earlier this year, after receiving the greenlight from Switzerland’s gambling regulator Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission after passing the International Organisation of Standardisation audit.

The partnership provides the operator with access to a selection of “popular” land-based titles, including Golden Games’ Super Cherry Slots, lauded as “a cult classic on the country’s casino floors,” as well as a further selection from Greentube’s portfolio which are now available via Grand Casino Baden’s online gaming website, jackpots.ch.

Daniel Lechner, Greentube head of sales, said of the new agreement: “Partnering with Grand Casino Baden is an important step for Greentube, as we expand into Switzerland’s online market. Novomatic being the clear leader with land-based casino slots has allowed Greentube to rapidly secure major partnerships with leading operators.”

In July, when the market opened for business Grand Casino Baden became Switzerland’s first licenced online casino operator and subsequently launched jackpots.ch, which is supported by Gamanza’s platform technology and regulatory data storage solution.

This integration marks Greentube’s second partnership in the jurisdiction, with it stressed that more are set to follow as further operators receive online licences.

“Providing our customers with famous Swiss games such as Super Cherry Slots will serve as  great advantage as we grow our jackpots.ch online brand,” commented Marcel Tobler, CFO of Grand Casino Baden. “Greentube’s portfolio of iconic titles perfectly fits our player profile and we look forward to offering our customers some of the most popular slot games in the market.”
