NetEnt unveils new jackpot system and Scout Gaming agreement

NetEnt has rolled-out its “groundbreaking” new community jackpot system, as Scout Gaming also reveals the signing of a new distribution agreement with the firm.

Through its new jackpot solution NetEnt is enabling players to collect Starburst tokens across an entire family of NetEnt titles for a range of prizes.

NetEnt has developed the concept that allows players to collect Starburst tokens across multiple casino brands and games for a chance to bag a community jackpot with other players.

Players will play together to fill up the PowerPots progress bar to trigger the community pot divided among any number of players – even if they happen to be offline.

“Starburst PowerPots was developed in line with our customers’ and players’ expectations, taking cue on everything from art assets to mechanics,” noted Bryan Upton, NetEnt director of games

“We are using leading edge games design approaches to make this jackpot family with our most powerful games simple to understand yet compelling. Using the Starburst brand will create massive acquisition while these jackpot mechanics will drive huge engagement for players.

“This is community gaming without the over engineering and overthought on what slot players really want. This product can fit into any operator’s portfolio and deliver any experience, from large life changing prizes to super-fast hitting jackpots.”

This comes as the supplier also enters a new collaboration with Scout Gaming which will enable NetEnt’s customers access to the firm’s entire product offering that is currently being integrated on NetEnt’s platform.

“Scout Gaming is a great addition to NetEnt Connect. The type of content they bring to the table is real in line with our ambition to widen the Connect portfolio and adding games that neither NetEnt or Red Tiger provides. We look forward to make Scout Gaming content available to our connected operators.” commented Rob Fell, director of NetEnt Connect.
