Peermont Hotels’ PalaceBet deepens BetGames.TV’s South African presence

BetGames.TV has added further depth to its South African footprint after entering a partnership that will see the supplier provide its entire suite of live content to Peermont Hotels’ PalaceBet.co.za brand.

Having initially gone live on Wednesday 7 October the digital sportsbook and casino now offers a number of BetGames titles, including War of Bets, Wheel of Fortune and 6+ Poker, to players in the country that is said to have “already shown significant interest” in the games.

Delivered via an SBTech integration, it is hoped that the additional content will help onboard Peermont’s land-based players to the online brand, with the fixed-odds gaming vertical delivering a boost to revenue in lockdown-affected months.

“As an industry leader, we are looking for partners that fit in with our high standards and can provide a quality product that bettors have come to expect,” said Nigel Atherton, Peermont Hotels’ CEO.

BetGames.TV offers just that and we’re proud to add their library of products to PalaceBet, a brand that we’ve high hopes for and that aims to deliver some of the best betting experiences around.”

In the first half of 2020, BetGames.TV saw its total number of bets in the market almost double, and it currently has around 500,000 South African’s engaging with its various games on a regular basis.

The live dealer betting games supplier boasts licences issued by multiple jurisdictions including the UKGC, MGA, Italy, as well as various South African gambling authorities.

Richard Hogg, CCO at BetGames.TV, added: “South African players have taken to our live casino content very well in recent months, and we’re sure PalaceBet.co.za’s burgeoning player base will also enjoy what we have to offer.

“Peermont are a well-established land-based operator, and we can’t wait to help them transition to the digital space with content that’s already proven to drive impressive revenues in the market.”
