Jogo Global has named Simon Collins as chairperson, with the platform provider and casino content developer lauding “a major coup” amid strong ambitions to grow the business internationally.
Collins’ track record in building new gaming ventures includes co-founding Cashcade, the online bingo business behind the UK brand Foxy Bingo that was sold for £96m in 2009, as well as Gaming Realms, the developer of mobile focused content including Slingo.
Most recently he served as managing director of betting and gaming at News UK, overseeing the organisation’s brands including fantasy football league Dream Team, Sun Bingo, and Sun Racing.
“I’ve been hugely impressed with the quality of Jogo Global’s products, as well as the company’s vision to bring positive changes to the casino industry,” Collins noted.
“In my new role, I’m very much looking forward to supporting David and his team in building a successful business that is operational across all key gaming markets.”
Jogo Global provides an array of products and services to the mobile, online and land based casino industry. The company’s offering includes gaming platforms, and mobile, online and land based content, as well as services including bespoke software development and a gamification platform.
