Software provider Altenar has enhanced its European footprint as it partners with online gaming brand Jokerbet.
As part of the link-up, Altenar will aim to strengthen its position in the Spanish market with Jokerbet, part of Grupo Veramatic, which originated in 1986 and now has more than 190 gaming halls in the country, with a further 1,000 gaming terminals in the hostelry channel.
Commenting on the partnership, Domenico Mazzola, commercial director at Altenar, said: “I’m extremely excited and happy to announce that Jokerbet, a well-established Spanish operator, decided to switch to our fully managed Sportsbook solution.”
In 2017, the group obtaineda license to operate in the country through its own website where users can enjoy sports betting, casino games and slots, among others.
Lauding the collaboration, Jokerbet’s director, Jorge Justicia, expressed his pleasure in working with “one of the most important suppliers in the industry”.
“Altenar’s attitude, flexibility and approach is what made us decide on their product,” Justicia noted. “We are confident that we have all the right elements to have a long-lasting business partnership.”
Earlier this month, Altenar made its move into the Colombian market as it agreed a partnership with Colbet.co and Betsson Group, becoming the new sportsbook supplier for the betting operator.
