Caesars Entertainment has released further details of its planned Chase Field sportsbook, which will become a reality courtesy of an exclusive sports betting and daily fantasy partnership inked with the Arizona Diamondbacks in May.
The casino entertainment firm has released a series of renderings of the 20,000 square foot, two-story venue, which will feature two floors of sports betting space, a full-service bar and VIP lounge, and wall-to-wall TV’s. Opening of the facility is scheduled for early 2022.
While it won’t be accessible to fans while they attend a Diamondbacks game, they can still place bets via the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app. The space will be open year-round, not just on game days, and will have flexible hours of operation to cater to specific sporting events.
“The Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will be the premier sports betting and entertainment destination in downtown Phoenix,” said Derrick Hall, Diamondbacks president and CEO.
“Diamondbacks fans, Arizona residents, and out-of-state visitors, whether they are sports bettors or not, should look forward to this state-of-the-art, year-round location that will feature a first-class dining, betting and hospitality experience – all while taking in their favourite sporting event or watching their favourite team. This sportsbook will transform the sports viewing experience in Arizona.”
When sports betting becomes available in the state on September 9, fans can make a bet at Chase Field at ticket windows 21-25, marking the first MLB stadium where sports fans can place an in-person wager.
Leading up to the grand opening of the retail venue, bets can also be placed at five betting kiosks on the north side of the plaza being installed in the interim.
As of August 28, Arizonans can also officially download the Caesars Sportsbook app, register, and deposit funds to take advantage of offers in preparation for the launch of sports betting

Caesars Entertainment is an official corporate partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and has a multi-year agreement with Major League Baseball as an authorised gaming operator of the league.
