Playson has stressed that it’s “delighted” to extend its presence in the Bulgarian market, after striking an alliance with operator group AlphaBet Gaming.

The firm is lauded as boasting “a strong presence” in the land-based sector, and is subsequently looking to expand its operations to the online environment having recently obtained a local gambling licence to operate in Bulgaria’s regulated market.

Lyubomir Zaharinov, CEO at AlphaBet Gaming, stated: “Playson is one of the leading brands in the industry, so partnering with them holds significant value in Alphawin’s targeted expansion.

“We are thrilled to be working with such a well-known developer and believe its diverse range of games will support our online growth and strengthen our fundamental appeal to a broad base of customers.”

The partnership will see Playson deliver a range of titles, including games Buffalo Power Megaways, Royal Coins: Hold and Win and 9 Happy Pharaohs, to AlphaBet Gaming’s new online casino brand, Alphawin.

The latest deal is an extension of Playson’s penetration into Bulgaria, following the casino games and software developer entering the region in 2019 after aligning with operator WinBet.

“We are delighted to extend our presence in the Bulgarian market with the country’s newest online brand Alphawin,” added Blanka Homor, sales director at Playson.

“It’s an exciting time for the team at Alphawin as they embark on their online journey and we’re looking forward to playing our part and supplying the casino with our quality content.”
