Gamomat has outlined its intentions to secure significant growth across a ‘core market’ of the Netherlands, with its slots portfolio now available in the Dutch igaming market.

This will see a wide selection of Gamomat titles, including Books & Bulls, Fancy Fruits, The Book Beyond and La Dolce Vita, become accessible in the Netherlands due to the group’s distribution partnership with Oryx Gaming.

In August, Oryx Gaming received certification in the Netherlands for its igaming platform and remote gaming server, with it said that the Netherlands will play an important part of its strategy to expand into key regulated markets, adding that the company sees “great potential” in the territory.

Julia Weygandt, Gamomat Distribution’s head of international partnerships, commented: “The Netherlands represents a core market for Gamomat’s growth ambitions and we’re thrilled to bring our games to the Dutch igaming audience.

“A wide collection of our most popular games will be available thanks to our distribution partnership with Oryx Gaming.”

Earlier this month, Dutch regulator, Kansspelautoriteit, confirmed the first ten entrants that were permitted to operate upon the long awaited opening of the country’s legalised online gambling market, which took place at midnight on Friday 1 October.

This saw the Toto Online brand of Nederlandse Loterij; Dutch arcade group FPO Netherlands; Holland Casino; and NSUS Malta, which counts GGPoker as part of its stable; all gain approvals.

Further entrants included Estonia’s Play North, operator of the Rocket Casino and Pikakasino brands, bingo operator Tombola, bet365; Belgian brand Bingoal, Italy’s Betent; and LiveScore Malta.
