Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment, an enterprise of the Tohono O’odham Nation which operates casino properties in Arizona, is to bring sports betting to the state after securing a long-term alliance with Kambi.
This will see the tribal operator, which is owned and operated by the Tohono O’odham Nation, gain the provision of on-property, as well as online, sportsbooks.
The multi-channel agreement will see Kambi provide its full suite of sports betting technology, initially rolling out on-property across the operator’s West Valley, Sahuarita, and Tucson, Arizona properties in the fourth quarter.
The company adds that an online sportsbook is set to follow shortly afterwards under the newly created entity of Desert Diamond Mobile.
Desert Diamond Casinos will benefit from Kambi’s on-property offering, including the Kambi kiosk and bring your own device technology, as well as harnessing the firm’s enhanced in-event combinability product which launched in September to coincide with the start of the NFL season.

In August, the operator was one of 10 Arizona Indian tribes in to receive a licence from the Arizona Department of Gaming to offer sports wagering in the state.
