Caesars Entertainment has continued its Horseshoe rebranding spree, with central Indiana’s newly renamed Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino becoming the latest property to welcome a fresh moniker.
To mark the occasion, the casino and entertainment operator held a ribbon cutting ceremony with an array of the group’s executives as well as Greg Small, Indiana Gaming Commission Executive Director, Shelbyville Mayor Tom DeBaun.
Horseshoe Indianapolis, formerly known as Indiana Grand, began an enhancement and expansion project in April 2021, which was tasked with delivering almost 25,000 square feet of new gaming space, including a live World Series of Poker room with 20 tables.
“Being able to link our property and services to the Horseshoe brand will enhance the gaming, racing, dining and entertainment experience for our guests,” said Steve Jarmuz, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
“The addition of the World Series of Poker Room coupled with our Caesars Race and Sportsbook gives our guests a unique menu of gaming opportunities, all located on one floor.”
Following its renovation project, the venue now includes a 20-seat video poker bar with 65” LCD overhead screens, fresh table games, slots and gaming chairs, new design elements throughout, surface parking, and Brew Brothers eatery. Furthermore, the company says that it has also added more than 100 new jobs to the workforce.
Horseshoe Indianapolis becomes the latest Caesars property to undertake such a rebranding exercise, following in the footsteps of Bally’s Las Vegas and Horseshoe Saint Louis, formerly Lumière Place Casino & Hotel.
