Gaming Innovation Group has gained further ground in the Spanish igaming market after an ongoing platform and sportsbook collaboration with Starcasino was extended into the country.

The Malta-based group’s 14th point of operation for GiG tech in Spain will permit the operator to harness the capabilities of both the firm’s sportsbook and player account manager solutions.

Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco Gaming at GiG, said “I am really pleased to have signed this partnership with Starcasino, to power their entry into the appealing Spanish market. 

“I am convinced that our combined sportsbook, platform technology and regulatory experience is well suited to help established operators like Starcasino power into new regulated markets.”

The initial three year agreement with Starcasino, which also boasts an online and land-based presence in Belgium, comes after the brand secured sports and casino licences in the jurisdiction.

After many years of work and success in Belgium we have initiated our expansion to other markets, and in Spain have selected GiG’s technologies to successfully face the challenges.”

This enhanced partnership comes alongside GiG signing an agreement with an unnamed land-based casino operator in Ontario.

In a link-up that is expected to go live during the first half of next year, GiG will provide its platform, sportsbook and omni-channel solutions within the providence.
