Relax Gaming has continued a quest for global expansion into the new year after entering a region that is hailed as possessing “such a huge potential for growth in the online casino sphere”.

This has seen the igaming aggregator and supplier extend its European presence into Greece, which has come alongside a vow to keep a watchful eye on developments further afield to maintain new market entries.

In a move that is further praised as representing a “key milestone” for the firm, Relax has noted that it has been “closely monitoring the country’s growing igaming presence following the Hellenic Gaming Commission’s move to a new online gambling licensing system in 2021”.

After signalling an intent to enter the region, players at licensed operators within the country will gain access to the Relax Gaming content suite from the current quarter. This will include games such as Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop, Net Gains and Money Train 3.

Alexia Smilovic Ronde, Chief Regulatory Officer at Relax Gaming, commented: “We’re delighted that Relax Gaming has been issued an igaming supplier licence by the Hellenic Gaming Commission.

“We’re pleased to continue our global scale expansion within a jurisdiction that has such a huge potential for growth in the online casino sphere. We’ll keep a close eye on regional regulatory developments to continue with its successful journey of expansion in newly regulated markets.”

To close the past year, Relax Gaming made a number of additions to the group’s Powered By partnership program, with Lady Luck Games, Air Dice and Octopus Global each signing-up. These were sandwiched between a Markor Technology integration and Casino Gran Madrid partnership.
