Light & Wonder has expanded an existing distribution partnership with Betsson Group to include more content across new and existing markets for the operator.

As well as ensuring Light & Wonder and third-party content is available for Betsson via the OpenGaming digital casino system, the new deal increases the amount of content available to the operator across new and existing markets all over the globe.

The deal expands on an existing collaboration between the two parties that has been in place for many years, in which Light & Wonder has utilised its content to support Betsson’s global growth.

Laura Peretta, Head of Supplier Relations at Betsson Group, stated: “Light & Wonder has been our trusted supplier since the early days of our journey within igaming. We followed a similar path of market entries when the landscape was shifting, and they have always been there for us.

“Their OpenGaming ecosystem guarantees expertise, scalability, and exceptional content delivery. We are delighted that we can continue the strong partnership and hold high expectations for our shared future.”

Described as a system that is robust, secure and can be easily integrated, Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming offers over 3,500 games from a global network of in-house and third-party game studios alongside a comprehensive range of responsible gambling tools to provide a safe and enjoyable gaming experience.

“We view Betsson Group as an important operator that has shown commitment and trust to Light & Wonder over many years,” added Magdalena Podhorska-Okolow, MD Europe at Light & Wonder.

“The fact that the agreement has been renewed solidifies the group’s plans to view us as a key growth partner. We work hard to understand Betsson Group’s trajectory and to ensure that we are the go-to partner for them to achieve their ambitions.”
