Great Canadian Entertainment’s Toronto venue has cut the red tape on its brand-new poker room, offering 30 poker tables at the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto.

Hailing the resort’s latest addition as ‘state-of-the-art’, the Great Canadian Toronto Poker Room will host all 30 tables 24/7, while also introducing a ‘Bad Beat’ jackpot scheme to add ‘an extra layer of excitement’.

The progressive jackpot will be fueled by contributions from every qualifying hand played in the participating poker rooms, building anticipation by offering enhanced prizes.

“Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is dedicated to providing an exceptional entertainment experience, and the poker room is a testament to our commitment to meeting the diverse interests of the poker community,” commented Michael Kim, Executive Vice President at Great Canadian Entertainment.

“The fully operational poker room and the introduction of the ‘Bad Beat’ Jackpot are just the beginning of many exciting things yet to come at the resort.”

Great Canadian Entertainment’s new poker room is located on its private floor, offering electronic table games and slot machines for players waiting for their turn on the poker tables.

Additionally, the room will host large poker tournaments for players to ‘test their skills in competitive environments’.

Great Canadian Entertainment CMO Gavin Whiteley recently took to the CasinoBeats Pathways hot-seat to detail the process behind launching Toronto’s “newest and largest casino”.
