Caesars Entertainment has renewed and expanded its partnership with the National Hockey League to include NHL-branded icasino games for the first time.

Through the multi-year deal extension, Caesars will continue being the sports betting and gaming partner of the NHL, but will now also create online casino products that use the branding of the ice hockey league.

Caesars Digital will use the NHL intellectual property to build and promote the icasino games across its North American platforms, including Caesars Palace Online Casino.

“With the defending Stanley Cup Champions residing in our home city of Las Vegas, we have a front-row seat to the excitement and passion that the NHL provides,” commented Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.

“This partnership extension with the league continues our efforts to build on that fan passion by bringing unforgettable experiences to all of our valued customers across both sports betting and online casino.”

The renewed NHL agreement will provide Caesars Rewards members with VIP experiences, as well as visibility opportunities for Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Rewards during national NHL broadcasts of Stanley Cup playoff games in select markets.

In addition, the operator will also be able to use NHL team logos and imagery on its sportsbook app, as well as gain access to league alumni and the Stanley Cup for appearances.

Jason Jazayeri, NHL Vice President, Business Development, added: “Since the inception of our partnership with Caesars, together we have focused on innovative ways to engage our passionate fanbase.

“We look forward to the next chapter of our relationship focused on delivering unparalleled access to our sport for NHL fans.”

Last month, Caesars launched an NFL-branded online casino live dealer game called Caesars Football Blackjack.
