BetMGM has gone live in a second US state with its online hybrid dealer game, MGM Bonus City, launching the title exclusively on BetMGM Casino in Michigan.

MGM Bonus City initially launched in New Jersey back in October 2023. The title combines Inspired Entertainment’s technology with virtual CGI, green screen technology and real dealer footage.

The online hybrid dealer game includes various gameshow elements, including four MGM-themed bonus rounds, transporting players to Las Vegas where they can spin the wheel and place their bets.

“MGM Bonus City is an immersive experience for players and Inspired did a fantastic job combining virtual and live elements,” said Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming of Product & Content at BetMGM.

“MGM Bonus City is a superb addition to BetMGM Casino, and we’re excited to continue the rollout across states where we are live as regulations allow.”

Within MGM Bonus City, players are given the option of eight potential outcomes that will spin on the big wheel, with themed rounds featuring MGM Las Vegas properties of New York-New York, Luxor, MGM Grand and Bellagio

The game also randomly awards a special multiplier during the spin that can enhance the player’s winnings.

Alongside Michigan and New Jersey, BetMGM has previously announced plans to launch the MGM Bonus City online hybrid dealer game in Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to introduce MGM Bonus City in Michigan, enhancing our partnership with BetMGM,” added Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspired.

“This game embodies the fusion of cutting-edge technology, engaging gameplay, and robust branding opportunities, setting a new standard for the igaming experience. By integrating live dealer elements with dynamic virtual environments, we create a truly unique gaming experience.”

BetMGM Casino features more than 2,800 titles across its North American markets and one of the largest state-by-state exclusive jackpot networks.

At the end of last month, BetMGM posted its financials for the first half of 2024, reporting net revenue from operations of $1bn.

Adam Greenblatt, the CEO of the operator jointly owned by Entain and MGM Resorts International, commented that the results were significant in “laying the groundwork for BetMGM’s future”.
