Catawba’s Two Kings Casino Inks Landmark Partnership with NFL’s Carolina Panthers

As it draws closer to completing its permanent $1 billion resort, Catawba Nation’s Two Kings Casino has entered a multi-year partnership deal with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.

Of North Carolina’s three tribal casinos, Two Kings is situated closest to Charlotte. Residents of North Carolina’s largest city can make the 35-mile trip to Kings Mountain along the I-85 corridor.

Two Kings Casino Promotions Coming to Panthers Home Games

As part of the deal, the casino will be prominently promoted during home games at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The agreement includes scoreboard features during each game, as well as on-site activations that allow fans 21 and older to enroll in the casino’s Lucky North Rewards player loyalty program.

Perks include free merchandise and complimentary slot play redeemable at the casino. The partnership is designed not only to raise awareness of the casino’s offerings, but also to drive engagement and visits through actively offered rewards-based incentives.

The deal will also help reward Two Kings Casino’s most loyal customers. The casino will host select patrons in a 20-person luxury suite at Bank of America Stadium, as well as provide access to lower-level seats during Panthers home games. This type of experiential loyalty perk aligns with broader trends in the casino industry, where high-value players receive exclusive entertainment experiences.

Trent Troxel, vice president of the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, said: “This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for us to share the incredible experience of attending a game at Bank of America Stadium with our top casino patrons while promoting the casino to the Panthers fanbase in Charlotte and throughout the Carolinas.”

Partnership Comes During Massive Expansion of Two Kings Casino Resort

Two Kings Casino is currently a shell of what it will be when the $1 billion expansion is completed in 2027. The temporary facility located just off I-85 in Kings Mountain, N.C., offers over 1,100 gaming machines, including electronic table games and 14 live table games. Customers can also wager on sports through Two Kings Casino’s sports betting kiosks.

While a portion of the new complex is expected to open next spring, the final Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort is set to debut in 2027. It will feature:

• 4,300 slots
• 100 live table games
• 11 dining outlets
• 11 bars
• 385-room hotel

Two Kings Casino is expected to benefit from its proximity to Charlotte. North Carolina’s other two tribal sportsbooks — Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort and Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel — are located in the western part of the state and closer to the Tennessee state line.

Other Casino Partnerships with NFL Teams

In 2023, Snoqualmie Casino renewed its partnership with the Seattle Seahawks. The casino, situated just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, boasts a new hotel, an expanded gaming floor, and a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center, which is scheduled to open later this year.
