BetAmerica has extended its presence across the US via a pair of retail sportsbook launches in Michigan and Colorado, which added to current availability in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Mississippi.
Regarding the former, the Churchill Downs Incorporated igaming and sports betting platform partnered with Hannahville Indian Community for the debut at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris.
“We are excited that guests of the Island Resort and Casino will be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art sports wagering experience,” commented Bill Mudd, COO of CDI.
“Sports fans in Michigan will be able to access the best in sports betting, including live in-play betting as well as engaging and unique promotions at our BetAmerica Sportsbook.”
The retail presence boasts 14 self-service betting terminals, two betting windows and 25 large screen televisions, with BetAmerica planning to debut online casino and sports wagering state-wide in the near future, subject to regulatory approvals.
“We are thrilled to partner with BetAmerica to open the first sportsbook in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula,” stated Kenneth Mesigaud, Hannahville Indian Community tribal chairperson for the Island Resort and Casino.
“The BetAmerica Sportsbook is a fantastic addition to our gaming options and combined with our other entertainment opportunities, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, it provides another great reason for people to visit.”
The brand’s Centennial State launch came at Bronco Billy’s Casino located in Cripple Creek, after CDI partnered with Full House Resorts for the retail opening.
The sportsbook features ten self-service betting terminals and two windows, and boasts wagering opportunities on a large range of sporting events, including professional and collegiate US sports.
“Sports betting enthusiasts from all over Colorado are sure to enjoy these industry-leading kiosk offerings,” noted Baxter Lee, General Manager at Bronco Billy’s Casino, “and our customers are excited to see our sportsbook open.”
Similarly to its aforementioned manoeuvres in the Wolverine State, BetAmerica also plans to launch an online sportsbook and igaming throughout Colorado in the future, subject to regulatory approvals.
“Colorado is home to some of the most enthusiastic sports fans in professional and college sports and we are pleased to offer BetAmerica’s state-of-the-art sportsbook experience there,” added Mudd.
