Skillzzgaming hits the state of New Jersey as its content goes live through operator BetMGM via Pariplay’s Fusion platform.

Scientific Games has extended its partnership with MGM Resorts International and GVC HoldingsBetMGM gaming and sports betting joint venture.

Lauded as a “major partnership” with BetMGM and the group’s associated brands, which include BetMGM Casino, Borgata Online and PartyCasino NJ, the entity will launch games across New Jersey and other regulated US states exclusively via SG’s OpenGaming System.

“Extending our well-established partnership with BetMGM is a sign of our commitment to the US igaming market and successful collaboration between our companies,” Dylan Slaney, SVP of gaming and digital at Scientific Games, said of the deepened collaboration.

“As part of the deal, we’ll be providing BetMGM with cutting-edge content and better game and player management tools, all to deliver the ultimate online casino experience to their player base.

“The work our teams have undertaken to establish OpenGaming as the go-to entertainment platform is second to none and we’re looking forward to working with the BetMGM team as they expand across the US.”

As part of the extended partnership, BetMGM will operate the company’s OpenGaming product suite, including the OpenGaming System, which incorporates in-house content and third-party games. The operator will also have access to a suite of player engagement tools including free spins and jackpot features designed to further drive their igaming offering.

OpenGaming is now live with BetMGM’s operations in New Jersey, with a pathway paved for potential expansion into Pennsylvania and further states across the US.

Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming at BetMGM, added: “Scientific Games have been a first-class igaming partner to BetMGM, consistently giving our casino management the best tools and games to offer our players.

“This builds on a well-established partnership, and Scientific Games will continue to be a key igaming partner for us as we extend our operational reach in the coming years.”
