MansionCasino, Casino.com and Slots Heaven, will remain unaffected as Mansion Group’s sportsbook brand MansionBet is set to cease trading on March 31, 2022.
The decision by Mansion Group is said to have been a result of a review of competitive market conditions and the regulatory environment within the UK sportsbook market.
Christian Block, CEO of Mansion, said: “After careful deliberation, we have decided to cease trading our MansionBet brand. The commercial decision was a difficult one, but it does provide an opportunity to focus on our casino brands, where we have a long history of excelling.
“To minimise impact on consumers, we have ensured our customers’ future winnings continue to get paid out, and stakes will be returned regardless of outcome.
“Finally, I would like to thank all our colleagues and partners for building the sportsbook brand, and our loyal customers for their support throughout.”
The online gaming operator stated it will shift the company’s focus to its casino brands Casino.com, MansionCasino, and Slots Heaven and continue to operate in the UK online casino market.
Furthermore, the company will also focus its attention on other markets, such as Spain, where it is operating with MansionCasino, and Canada, where the firm has applied for a licence for its flagship brand – Casino.com – which it states will enter the soon-to-be regulated Ontario market.
MansionBet’s customers will be able to withdraw any money from their accounts until the closing date and can continue to withdraw for an extended period after this through their customer support team.
Any open bets that conclude as winners after the closing date, when bet slips become unavailable on site, will be honoured and paid out in full until Friday 28 April 2023. Open bets based on an event that occurs after April 28, 2023, will have their stakes returned.
