EvenBet Gaming has demonstrated its ability to safeguard sensitive data as it obtains an ISO 27001 certification for its security management systems.

The certification, valid for three years, is renowned for being “essential” for going live and expanding its presence within various regulated jurisdictions. Additionally, EvenBet’s internal processes were said to be subject to a “series of strict assessments”.

“Information security has never been more important and we take the safety of our partners’ data very seriously, which is exemplified by our achieving ISO 27001 Certification with ease,” stated Alexander Tamplon, CTO at EvenBet Gaming.

“It is a crucial step for us as we continue to expand across a wide variety of regulated markets and as online poker’s popularity continues to grow at pace.”

EvenBet has also noted that the certification provides evidence to operators that the company is managing its information security in accordance with international best practices.

Moreover, it  makes it clear to operators and investors that the company’s employees are appropriately trained to maintain the standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

EvenBet’s ISO approval follows on from two additional certifications this month that witnessed Evoplay and Spinomenal enhance its security management systems.
