Push Gaming is eyeing accelerated growth across an array of global markets after receiving ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its information security management systems.
The online casino content developer noted that this saw internal processes be “rigorously tested against the standard’s strict assessment criteria”, with the provider meeting the more than 100 controls and clauses over a nine-month period.
ISO/IEC 27001 is intended to help organisations manage and protect their information assets so that they remain safe and secure.
As a result of the award, Push’s senior management team, as well as all its operations and controls, are now fully compliant with the data protection practices and procedures set by the International Organisation for Standardisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission.
The group noted that this green-light “is key to going live in many regulated jurisdictions” as Push Gaming looks to maintain expansion into new markets across the globe.
“This award is a great boost to our continued expansion as a company and signifies to our partners the way we do business,” stated Fiona Hickey, Director of New Business and Markets at Push Gaming.
“It’s vitally important that our standards are as high as possible across the board, which allows us to continue serving a growing number of operators and players with the utmost confidence.”
Last week, Push Gaming disclosed its maiden move into the Italian online gaming market where the company is looking to “forge partnerships with prominent operators in the region”.
Following its initial integration into the regulated market, Push will go on to make all 30 of its titles available to Italian players in the succeeding weeks.
