Kambi Group has become the latest industry provider to celebrate attaining a B2B licence to continue offering its products to licenced operators in Sweden.

Announced by the Swedish Gambling Authority Spelinspektionen last week and coming into force on July 1, 2023, the licence will allow Kambi to carry on offering sports betting and technology services to regulated operators in Sweden for a further five years.

David Carter, Chief Legal Officer at Kambi, stated: “We are pleased to have obtained the necessary B2B gambling permits for Sweden which, given Kambi’s heritage, has long been one of our most important markets.

“This further showcases our commitment to upholding the utmost standards of compliance and regulatory requirements which is a cornerstone of Kambi’s success as the world’s leading B2B sportsbook.”

The move comes as the Spelinspektionen passed a bill last year requiring suppliers in the nation to apply for updated permits to supply gambling content to companies across the Scandinavian country.

Kambi’s receival of said licence adds the company to a long list of industry providers that have announced their updated Swedish approval in recent months, following announcements from Air Dice, Kalamba Games, RAW Group and Stakelogic

Meanwhile, Kambi recently announced a partnership to enhance its US’ operations after collaborating with WarHorse Gaming to launch the first ever sportsbook in Nebraska.
