RAW Group has received a B2B licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen

With the licence, RAW’s platforms of RAW iGaming, RAW Arena and RAW Live will be permitted to operate in the country.

“We are absolutely thrilled by this news and it’s another major milestone for the RAW Group that will help expand the RAW games distribution within the EU,” commented Tom Wood, CEO of RAW Group.

“This is also a testament to our ambitious strategy to grow & act responsibly in the regulated igaming ecosystem. To be able to offer our premium game portfolio to Swedish players in a safe and compliant way is of the utmost importance. We look forward to continuing to provide our innovative games to existing and new licensed Swedish operators.”

Earlier this week, the Riksdag, Sweden’s highest decision-making assembly, approved new regulations to promote a healthier and safer gambling market. These measures will be enforced from July 1, the exact date that the country’s B2B licensing regime will begin.

Patrico Galan, Director of PMO at RAW Group, added: “The application process was well-defined and well-supported by the SGA. To be granted this B2B licence further demonstrates our commitment to providing a best-in-class igaming offering.”
