International Game Technology has swelled its presence across the US retail space after disclosing an agreement to power sports betting at St Croix Casinos in Wisconsin.
The multi-year partnership alongside the Badger State’s St Croix Chippewa Indians comes a short time after the company rolled-out an alliance to supply wagering solutions to Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi.
“Our agreement with IGT will enable us to wow our guests with localised betting offers and first-rate player experiences at our sportsbooks and grow excitement at The Book and the Red Zone,” said Loren Benjamin, St. Croix Casino General Manager.
“Sports betting has ushered in new energy and visitation to our casinos, and we look forward to elevating and evolving that success with IGT’s proven technology and experienced team.”
Under the terms of the agreement, IGT, through the group’s PlaySports technology, will power retail sports betting at St Croix Casino’s in Turtle Lake, Danbury, which houses around 500 slots as well as live craps, roulette and blackjack, and Hertel, which boasts approximately 250 slots,.
Furthermore, the three gaming venues will also leverage IGT’s trading advisory services and deploy self-service PlaySports quick bet kiosks.

Earlier in the month, IGT published its 2022 sustainability breakdown ‘Ahead of the Game’, in a bid to underline the supplier’s commitment to global sustainability and its environmental, social and governance efforts.
The company highlighted four key areas of sustainability within the report: valuing and protecting our people, advancing responsibility, supporting our communities and fostering sustainable operations.
