Bally’s Corporation has officially opened a new land-based property expansion at Bally’s Kansas City.

The over 35,000 square feet of new gaming and retail space is part of a “reimaged” casino floor which includes 200 new games, a dedicated high-limit slot area, and a second floor with more games and “a more relaxed, comfortable gaming experience”.

The interior and exterior of the casino have undergone renovation, including state-of-the-art lighting elements with a series of steel frames and fabric panels and improved site traffic circulation for guests with multiple, available entrances.

Included in the commercial centre is also a Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar and space for additional dining and retail establishments.

The new area was opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by Bally’s representatives including President George Papanier, Chickie’s and Pete’s Founder and Owner Pete Ciarrocchi, and other guests.

It is also the most significant investment that Bally’s has made in the former Isle of Capri since its acquisition in 2020.

Michael Donovan, Bally’s Regional Vice President & General Manager – Midwest, commented: “We are very excited to unveil a transformed Bally’s Kansas City.

“From the moment guests arrive, they will be greeted with enhanced dining and gaming experiences. We are grateful for the collaborative work of the city and the hundreds of union members who played a critical role in bringing this expansion to reality over the past two years.”

Bally’s lists of upgrades to Bally’s Kansas City since it took ownership in 2020 include the addition of 1800 Baccarat Lounge, an Asian-themed gaming lounge and noodle bar complete with eight Baccarat tables, an authentic menu featuring Vietnamese Pho, seafood fried rice, an assortment of noodles and bubble teas.

The operator also introduced the Celebrity Casino & Lounge to the casino’s second floor, featuring over 30 slot machines ranging from pennies to $5 video and reel machines, a blackjack table, a baccarat table, and Jerry Longo’s dining.
