iGaming Platform has begun a partnership with gaming risk management platform Greco to enhance its detection of bonus abuse.

Through the deal, iGP will utilise Greco’s AI to monitor gameplay and identify potential risks actively across its brands such as BetGoals, TouchCasino and Woombet. The solution is also available to all iGP partners.

“We’re committed to ensuring that genuine players aren’t hindered by a few rogue players,” commented Mario Pizikas, Risk, Fraud and Payment Operations Manager at iGP.

“Greco’s innovative platform reinforces our promise of a trustworthy online gaming experience.”

Players detected as at risk by the platform will be sent in-game notifications in an attempt to reduce their bonus abuse attempts, while repeat offenders will be subject to automated actions.

Ozric Vondervelden, CEO of Greco, added: “We are dedicated to creating a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for both players and operators.

“Teaming up with iGP embodies this vision, combining our advanced tools to prevent bonus abuse with iGP’s outstanding gaming platform.”

Bonus abuse is a problem for the gambling industry globally, as Vondervelden assessed the threat it poses in Brazil and Latin America when speaking to CasinoBeats back in October ahead of SBC Summit Latinoamérica.
