Princess Cruises is set to unveil its largest-ever casino as The Princess Casino is readying for launch on its Sun Princess cruise ship in February 2024.

Boasting an additional 50 per cent more space and 30 per cent more gaming machines than Princess Cruises’ Royal Class ships, the 9,000 square-foot floor property will host over 200 slots and video poker games, alongside live table games offering progressive jackpots.

The cruise casino will also feature a high-limit slot area with high-end seating for the line’s high rollers, as well as an ‘interactive audio-visual experience’ throughout the casino.

“Casino lovers, high rollers or simply those wanting to try a hand during their vacation will be stunned by the new Princess Casino onboard Sun Princess,” said John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises.

“Princess has embraced the casino experience and is proud to offer such exciting gaming surrounded by absolutely world-class dining and entertainment.”

Princess Cruises’ latest casino floor will implement progressive jackpots that are linked between the blackjack and poker table games as the line looks to offer ‘world-class gaming, comfort and entertainment’.

Overall, the casino floor will showcase 227 slot machines with 13 live tables, each with ‘the most comfortable gaming seating available’.

The 175,500-tonne, 4,300-guest cruise ship’s new casino floor will be located on the ship’s eighth deck, with other gaming positions infused into the Piazza, the ship’s atrium.
