FanDuel has added to its executive team with the appointment of Caralyn Cooley as the company’s Chief People Officer.
Reporting to CEO Amy Howe, Cooley brings significant CPO experience to the operator with knowledge in scaling global operations, shaping unique cultures and guiding teams through intense growth periods.
She will be tasked with FanDuel’s people strategy and responsible for making sure it reflects the operator’s growth trajectory.
Cooley will lead FanDuel’s people organisation inclusive of human resources, talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion, organisational effectiveness, employee branding, training, learning and development, compensation and employee benefits in service to its casino, sports and operations business units.

Cooley joins FanDuel from Bowery Farming, a US vertical farming company that designs and builds smart indoor environments, where she was Executive Vice President and CPO.
She has also worked for the gaming studio Nordeus, has a Master’s in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Resource Management from State University of New York-Oswego.
Earlier this month, FanDuel launched a new program and resource hub called ‘Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting’, designed to provide tools and resources to trusted adults to talk to young people about gambling and its associated risks.
