The NFL is entering the social casino space through a new deal with Aristocrat Leisure’s social casino subsidiary Product Madness to launch the NFL Super Bowl Slots free-to-play slot.
Available on iOS and Android globally, the game features NFL branding, real game video footage, and various tasks including “Daily Drills.”
It marks the latest chapter in the NFL’s partnership with Aristocrat, which first launched NFL Super Bowl Slots in land-based casinos ahead of the 2023 football season.
The social casino version of NFL Super Bowl Slots doesn’t require money to play. Users receive virtual coins upon downloading the app and have additional daily opportunities to earn more free coins.
For those who don’t want to wait for the daily chances or want more coins, the apps allow them to purchase additional coins. However, unlike sweepstakes casinos, which face increased scrutiny across the US, players cannot redeem coins for cash or other prizes.
A First in NFL Fandom & Social Casino
The launch is a milestone for both the NFL and the social casino space. Matt Labbat, SVP and Head of Product Madness, said the game is designed to deliver an authentic fan experience.
“With NFL Super Bowl Slots, we set out to do more than just build a game – we wanted to create a new way for fans to experience the sport they love. Every detail was crafted to channel team pride and authenticity into one free-to-play mobile game experience.”
Aristocrat created the slot in collaboration with the NFL and NFL Players Association (NFLPA). Ed Kiang, VP of Video Gaming for the NFL, called the game a new tool for extending fan engagement, combining the sport with the “liveliness and enthusiasm” of social casinos.
Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons was also revealed as the official brand ambassador for NFL Super Bowl Slots.
Feature-Packed Game
Players start by picking their favorite NFL team, unlocking team-specific content. That includes slot symbols, such as team helmets and logos, which act as the highest-paying ones. Additionally, the game includes footage of exciting team moments from past seasons, including iconic touchdowns.
The slot includes several special mechanics, including:
- Cash Blitz mechanic: Activated by coins on the first two reels, this feature can trigger multipliers, jackpots, or other bonuses, with coin values reaching up to 75x the total bet.
- Clutch Kick bonus: Players pick footballs for credit prizes until three misses end the round, with wins scaling up to 100x the total bet.
- Wheel feature – Awards a spin that can land multipliers or jackpots, including the coveted Grand.
- Jackpot Feature – Triggered by diamond symbols, where matching tiles award Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand jackpots, sometimes boosted by multipliers.
- Free Games – Three or more scatters grant 12 spins and an instant payout of up to 100x the bet, with retriggers and extra reel sets boosting win potential.
Additionally, the game features “Quarterback Rush” seasons and “Daily Drills” mechanics. Furthermore, there’s a player progression system that begins with the rank of Prospect and builds toward Hall of Famer.
For those who want to try something different, the app also includes iconic Aristocrat slots. They include Buffalo, Timberwolf, Lightning Link, and Dragon Link, some of which feature special NFL integrations.

Extension to Aristocrat & NFL Partnership
This mobile launch builds on the NFL’s existing partnership with Aristocrat. Aristocrat and the NFL partnered in 2021 in a multi-year deal. As mentioned, Aristocrat introduced the first land-based slot in 2023.
That deal expanded in 2024, when Aristocrat struck a partnership with the Dallas Cowboys for in-stadium promotions and branding. For the NFL, the collaborations mark a dramatic shift from its past resistance to gambling. It reflects a broader strategy to tap into the casino and gaming audience.
Aristocrat’s NFL-branded slots quickly became a fixture in major casino markets. Many operators tout them as high-engagement products for both traditional slot players and football fans.
With NFL Super Bowl Slots, Product Madness is bringing that same branding into the social casino space. That gives Aristocrat and the NFL another vertical to extend their partnership.
