The PGA Tour season rolls on this week with the Canadian Open at the Osprey Valley’s North Course at TPC Toronto. The event will serve as a tune-up for next week’s US Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.
Tommy Fleetwood is the betting favorite for the Canadian Open at DraftKings.

Best Bet on Favorite to Win Canadian Open
Sam Burns +1275
Sam Burns had the look of a champion last week at The Memorial and last year at the Canadian Open. Burns led during the final round of The Memorial and narrowly missed out on a playoff at Muirfield Village.
The T-4 finish was his best of the season. Burns now heads back to Toronto with confidence after falling just short at Osprey Valley’s North Course, where he lost to Ryan Fox in a playoff last year.
With his form trending up ahead of the US Open, Burns should be in the mix on Sunday.
Best Bet on Sleeper to Win Canadian Open
Aaron Rai +4100
Aaron Rai’s recent PGA Championship win moved him up to No. 13 in the world, but you’d never know it given these odds.
Rai’s recent form is solid with finishes of first, fifth, and T-19 in his last three events. Those happen to be his best three results of the season.
Rai skipped last year’s event in Toronto, but it’s not like anybody has a strong course history here. There’s been only one Canadian Open played at TPC Toronto after last year’s debut event.
Best Bet on Longshot to Win Canadian Open
Aldrich Potgieter +8000
Aldrich Potgieter already has a PGA Tour win on his resume. The 21-year-old South African won last year’s Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Potgieter acquitted himself nicely in the 2026 PGA Championship, finishing at T-35. He fired a 67 to share the lead after the first round, making his name more familiar to fans.
Earlier this year, he also impressed with a fifth-place finish in the Genesis Invitational. Potgieter is long off the tee, ranking first on the tour in driving distance (328.4 yards). He’s also capable of getting hot with the flat stick.
That’s a recipe for success at TPC Toronto, where Fox and Burns used that formula to finish first and second, respectively, in the 2025 Canadian Open.
