Aristocrat Technologies marked the 10-year anniversary of the launch of its hit Buffalo slot game with a reception at its stand at G2E Las Vegas last week.

Aristocrat CEO Trevor Croker, flanked by the company’s managing director of the Americas Matt Wilson, thanked the industry for its support of the slot and of the related franchise.

Buffalo and its many spin-off titles, consistently top the Goldman Sachs Slot Manager Survey’s list of high-performing games. The title has spawned a large and successful franchise.

In August, Aristocrat and PlayAGS reached a settlement resolving a trademark infringement lawsuit Aristocrat filed earlier in 2018 regarding the slot gaming brand.

Aristocrat had filed the suit in the US District Court in Nevada against AGS and PlayAGS, in defence of its Buffalo brand and trademark.

However, in August it was reported that the two companies have mutually agreed to resolve all claims associated with the lawsuit.
