NetEnt

South America has become the latest target for casino content developer NetEnt after beginning its journey across the region alongside Rush Street Interactive.

As part of a cooperation targeting the Colombian regulated market, NetEnt is to launch a selection of its slots titles with the gaming operator throughout the year.

“We are so pleased to expand our partnership with NetEnt to bring these top quality and well-known casino table games to RushBet.co players,” noted Omar Calvo, general manager of Rush Street Interactive Colombia.

“NetEnt’s blackjack and roulette games are already among the most popular table games on our sites in the United States and we know players in Colombia, who appreciate top quality table game content, will love playing these games online at RushBet.co.”

After entering the Swiss market for the first time earlier this month NetEnt’s latest market entry is to see the firm supply a selection of its table games, including Blackjack and two versions of Roulette, with RushBet.co, making them the first operator to provide NetEnt games in Colombia.

“We’re excited to enter the Colombian online casino market and Rust Street is a great first partner to begin this journey with,” noted Brian Kraft, VP commercial NetEnt Americas. “The Colombian market is growing at a fast pace and I’m confident that our games will be well received by players.”

Earlier this month NetEnt stressed a belief that a change in Swedish licensing needs to be introduced, calling on the establishment of a B2B licensing system to create fairer conditions and a higher channelisation rate.

Forming a key portion of the casino content developer’s focus, the Swedish market re-regulated in January 2019 with NetEnt suggesting that a number of restrictions imposed “led to challenges for the entire industry and significantly lower revenues compared to previous years”.
