Spinomenal has highlighted Italy as “an integral market” to continue the group’s quest for European expansion, with the latest stage of this ambition achieved alongside Betsson Group’s StarCasinò.
This will see the igaming studio’s suite of titles become available for Italian casino players through Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform, with an initial period of exclusivity to last until the end of October 2023.

Under the terms of the agreement, StarCasinò users will be able to gain a suite of online casino games that include the likes of Majestic King, Demi Gods II and Poseidon Rising.
Furthermore, the operator will also benefit from the Spinomenal Universe, which was detailed in a CasinoBeats 100 Club special earlier in the year, and recently included the addition of Book of Lucky Jack – Baba Yaga’s Tales. The concept enables players to explore a realm where characters from different series coexist within new storylines.
This latest point of European growth comes after Spinomenal has targeted an array of regions across the continent in recent times. Greece, Portugal and Bulgaria were earmarked for expansion alongside Betshop, Luckia, AlphaWin and Palms Bet, while a NetBet collaboration swelled the studio’s presence across Romania, Greece, Italy, the UK, Malta and Germany.
