Superbet founder Sacha Dragic has been named as co-CEO of the firm after five years away from the role. 

Dragic will take the role alongside Jimmy Maymann, who originally took the position at the start of the year and has led the operator through the start of a transformational period. 

Changes at the company also saw Sameen Jalal take the role of Chief Technology Officer, Albert Simsensohn will lead as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Andrei Dusu, has been named Chief Product Officer.

Maymann said on Dragic’s return and the changes at the company: “It’s clear that Sacha will bring a game-changing impact in returning to the business to help us to move faster to the next phase of our growth.

“The appointments of Sameen, Andrei and Albert further strengthens our leadership team, enabling us to scale further and quicker.”

Since the start of the year, Superbet has also agreed a myriad of new igaming collaborations including with Greentube, which bolstered the group’s offering in the Latin American market. 

Commenting on his return, Dragic stated: “At Superbet we have always planned many horizons ahead with ambition and I’m pleased to see the progress and speed with which the team have been growing and scaling the business to meet this ambition.”
